Media Team Leader

Working to deliver the State general election throughout Queensland as a contractor. Managed a team to deliver media relations, social media, communications strategies, broadcast and streaming interviews, and reinforced the misinformation and disinformation campaign alongside social media platform representatives from August onwards. I am currently providing reports and evaluations on media and strategy.

This organisation goes from strength to strength to continually improve the voting process. I'm still in the evaluation stage of the project and will be fresh and ready by February for a new opportunity to continue my QLD adventure. I've also had the opportunity to be involved in the disinformation and misinformation space by supporting the Electoral Commission of Queensland's STOP and CONSIDER campaign, which saw a lot of work internally and externally to be at the forefront of keeping democracy safe.

Oh, and I am concurrently keeping up my studies in creative and professional writing to finesse my corporate and creative storytelling and drive narratives.

I’ve had such a great time learning about democracy and engaging with the Queensland media landscape. I've worked with an amazing team, and we delivered something huge for Queenslanders. My professional and personal growth is a testament to a wonderful group of humans who work tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver the state-wide election.
